It’s hard to put into words the emotions I am experiencing watching, what feels like the world being on fire, while walking through a complicit, task driven day.

On one hand I feel relief. As a woman, seeing the men destroy our beautiful world and create chaos amongst humans has been terrible. To know that there is finally an end, lessens the pressure on my chest a bit.

But to know, as history has shown us many times, that those who will suffer the most on this journey to the end will undoubtedly be the women and children. Not that they aren’t already, it’s just now accelerated and more gruesome by the day.
